Now in its fourth year, the Melanoma March returns to the Gold Coast again for another campaign to raise awareness for melanoma, a rare type of skin cancer that is affecting more and more people each year. This 4 km walk has been a success each year since its inaugural event, with people of all different backgrounds taking part and showing their support.
The Melanoma March begins at The Strand in Coolangatta and continues along the stretch of Coolangatta Beach, where it finishes back at The Strand - reaching a total of 4 km. Once completed, participants of the march are invited back to join in the festivities at The Strand, comprising of tasty refreshments and family-friendly entertainment. This rewarding community event welcomes all to take part and show their support for melanoma victims, where your contributions will go towards raising awareness as well as life-changing research.
